Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and improve your experience.

Essential Cookies (Required)

FlautoPsy uses essential cookies only for core functionality. These cannot be disabled without breaking the app:

Session Cookie

Stores your login session token (httpOnly, Secure). Expires after 30 days of inactivity.

Workspace Cookie

Remembers which workspace you were viewing. Lets you jump back to your dashboard without selecting your workspace every time.

CSRF Protection Cookie

Prevents cross-site request forgery attacks on state-changing actions. This is a security requirement.

What We Don't Use

  • Analytics Cookies: We don't track user behavior with Google Analytics or Mixpanel
  • Tracking Cookies: We don't use third-party trackers to follow you across the web
  • Marketing/Advertising Cookies: We don't retarget you with ads
  • Third-Party Cookies: Our third-party providers (Stripe, Slack, Sentry) have their own cookie policies, but we don't use their cookies on our site

Third-Party Cookies

When you use integrations, those services may set their own cookies:

  • Slack: If you authorize Slack notifications, Slack may set cookies
  • Stripe: During checkout, Stripe sets cookies for payment processing

These are controlled by those services, not FlautoPsy. See their privacy policies for details.

How to Manage Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Clear browsing data

⚠️ Important: Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging into FlautoPsy or viewing your workspace. Your session will not persist.

Cookie Consent

Because FlautoPsy only uses essential cookies (not optional ones), we don't require explicit consent. However, you can always disable cookies in your browser settings if you prefer (though this will break the app).

Changes to This Policy

If we add new cookies (e.g., for analytics in the future), we will update this policy and provide notice. For material changes affecting your privacy, we'll notify you via email.
